The interim BCCI Chief Mr Jagmohan Dalmiya has said, he has to prove to the cricket fraternity that cricket is a clean sport and win their confidence back. He said, the need of the hour is to cleanse the game, which is now his top priority.Dalmiya was talking to reporters in Kolkata after the Board of Control for Cricket in India emergent working committee meeting in Chennai.N Srinivasan stepped aside under a compromise formula that brought back former Chief Jagmohan Dalmiya as the head of a four-member interim arrangement to run the Board. The move comes more than a fortnight after a spot-fixing scandal rocked the 6th Indian Premier League. Srinivasan’s son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan is under arrest for his alleged role in spot fixing.
