Gujarat High Court today rejected the plea of senior IPS officer P.P. Pande for quashing a First Information Report or FIR against him in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case.The FIR, filed by Central Bureau of Investigation-CBI alleges that Pande provided “so-called crucial intelligence inputs” to fellow officers which said that Ishrat, a college student, and three others were Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives and were on a mission to assassinate Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
