Congress leader Raj Babbar has regretted for his controversial remarks on meals being available for Rs. 12.
Congress spokesperson Renuka Chowdhury told this to reporters in New Delhi.Earlier the party had distanced itself from the controversial remarks made by him and Rasheed Masood about meals.Party General Secretary Ajay Maken said on the social networking site twitter that Congress did not agree with statements of some leaders.He said that BJP criticizing Rs. 33.30 poverty line should explain why the then NDA government accepted Rs. 16.73 as poverty base line in NSSO survey of 2003 .
